You can learn to read sheet music, chord symbols, pass grade exams, voice chords professionally and learn songs by ear. Would you love to sit down at the piano and improvise new music as you play? Well I can help you achieve this goal too! 

Not only will you get the chance to learn the piano, you will also have the opportunity to play on other keyboard voices like rhodes, wurlizer, organ, strings and other synths using the Nord digital piano in my studio.

Lesson rate: £40 per hour

Saxophone and Clarinet are two closely related instruments utilising very similar techniques to produce and manipulate their unique sounds. Saxophone is a slightly easier instrument to learn and requires a little less air pressure to produce that well-loved tone. The Clarinet requires a bit more puff to create a quality sound but is significantly lighter than the saxophone and so is often easier for younger students to hold onto. I will allow all new students to trial both instruments before they commit to renting or buying either.

Commonly overlooked, music theory education is an integral part of every music lesson. However, it is a great idea to invest some additional time into the inner workings of music. These lessons not only deepen your understanding of theory, but also assist you in practicing more effectively. This in turn will drastically speed up the rate at which you improve. Please get in touch if you also need assistance with the music theory grades required to do ABRSM classical grades 6-8.
